the charms of the summer,

Hello wild vines, and leaves of the may tree. 
The leaves on branches are the teeth of botany.  Chewing droplets of the sun,  stirring sugar between it's bridges, giving birth to smiles.  When I'm camping for the day in my garden,  I am unfolded by the wild ants hunt, the bird stealing bread, the flower's kissing twine. 

For those who can see the garden, I admire you.
For those who can feed the garden, I applaud you.
For those who are healed by the garden, I defend you.

The summer drips freckles onto my cheek buds. When I look into the mirror, I can see my tender skin turning darker by day. The rooms of our stead are covered in sweat.  We saddle our rooms with rotating fans, sleeping naked to chill our baking bodies.   I have drank buckets of rain water, and addressed my requests for Summer.  I do not wish for the sunshine to be a trail.   I want my sunshine forever.

I can't sleep. I can't reap, or gather my stories. I can't attempt my desires. I can't stay solemn. I can't keep myself from tapping toes, or sewing smiles.  Why? Why am I so tempted to joke, or  to riddle, or to sing?  The Calgary Folk Music Festival begins on Thursday ^.^ !!!Without the trims of golden light, without the drifting oven's air, without the sweat on the leaf. How can my dear black eyed susans reach the sky? 

Nothing exists as rich as the taste of the breeze while swaying. Swaying to the sounds of trumpets, fiddles, piano keys, guitars humming, and banjo strings.  The folk festival is the peach glow to my Summer. 
My favorite band, The Felice Brothers are one of the artists,    they'll be humming on stages, casting poetry, and skipping heart beats.  The fervor in my tail is wagging.  Other favorite artists include Blind Pilot, Bonnie Prince Billy, The Head and the Heart,  Joseph Arthur, Patrick Watson,  and Morgan O'Kane.

I've got two rolls of film, a bottle of sun screen, three lovers, and two feet. 

 I may/may not be posting for a week/or so.  I'm going to dive into the world of film photography. I will return with photos of charming lights, colorful patterns, and happy summer feelings.
